Introduction to Eye Care
At New Vision Eye Care, we recognize that healthy eyes are imperative to a happy and active lifestyle. At the end of the day, your way of life is dependent on your eyes and we want to ensure that they operate at peak performance. In short, our professionally trained optometrist takes the time to learn about our patients by asking questions about their lifestyles and eyes so that we can treat them effectively. Whether you think your child needs glasses or you think your contact lenses may be out of date, we'll do our best to help you.
Types of Eye Care Services
At New Vision Eye Care, our practice strives to provide the most comprehensive services to all of our patients regardless of their age, health, or any other factor. Only through a comprehensive eye exam is our trained staff able to detect vision problems that could cause serious issues if not corrected immediately. In addition to offering comprehensive eye exams, we also offer everything from contact lens fittings to help with selecting the perfect eye glasses and frames for you and everything in between. As a one stop shop for your vision needs, our professional and trained staff can work with any number of eye conditions like astigmatism, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Most importantly, we'll treat any age from pediatrics to geriatrics.
What to Expect at the Office
We recognize that going to any doctor, let alone the optometrist, can be daunting, and we want to ensure that you have the best experience possible. From the moment you step into our waiting room, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff that will listen to your concerns, fulfill your needs, and work to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Although every appointment is different, if you are visiting us for an eye exam then you can generally expect to be asked your medical history, if you are experiencing any issues with your eyes, and then be given a full exam. An exam often consists of eye dilation so we can get a clearer picture of the inside of your eye. We recommend arranging for a loved one or friend to drive you home after the appointment ends, as your eyes will be sensitive to light.
Eyes are an integral part of your overall health and yearly examinations are the best way to take proactive action for any issues before they become problem spots.
